Global Perspectives - Engaging a Changing World

David Dumke serves as Director of Global Perspectives and International Initiatives at UCF. In this role he leads the continued development of UCF's Office of Global Perspectives building an organization that supports international and global academic programs across the university. Mr. Dumke has directed UCF's Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Program for Strategic Research and Studies since its founding in 2012. He has also taught American foreign policy and Middle East politics.

His extensive and entrepreneurial international experience includes serving as a partner and consultant with government affairs, public relations, and business development firms specializing in foreign policy, energy, and trade. He worked as an advisor for numerous governments in the Middle East and North African region, and created, implemented and secured funding for numerous regional development projects. He has published analyses of the American political process and foreign policy, as well as congressional policymaking in the Middle East. Previously, he was an aide for the U.S. House Energy & Commerce Committee and several members of Congress.

He received a B.A. in History, Political Science, and Russian Studies from Indiana University and an M.A. in Muslim-Christian Understanding from Georgetown Univ
