Eastern African Trip & Translating Scriptures

Amanda Fewless serves with Wycliffe Bible Translators-- an organization committed to erasing Bible poverty by providing resources for people to translate the Scriptures into their own languages.  For more than 75 years, Wycliffe USA has not only helped with translation work, but also language development, literacy and other spiritual and physical support for communities around the world.

Amanda began her nonprofit career serving meals to Central Florida's homeless and eventually served as Director of Development for the Orlando Union Rescue Mission.  In 2015, she joined Wycliffe Bible Translators as a Relational Gifts Officer and has the privilege of engaging others with the work of Bible translation.  Most recently, her role has brought her to Guatemala and Tanzania to witness communities joyously receive their newly printed Scriptures.

She is a graduate of Bob Jones University and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Orlando since 2015.
